- OTC student who participates in a career-technical student organization and wins First Place at state competition during the current school year
- Must be a 1st Place State Winner (this is simply a qualifier & does not guarantee that a student will receive a scholarship)
- 2.75 cumulative grade point average
- Seeking a degree at OTC
Value
$1,000 per semester full-time award
Award based on credit hours enrolled not to exceed tuition & fees:
- 12+ hours = $1,000
- 9-11 hours = $750
- 6-8 hours = $500
- 1-5 hours = $250
Renewal Criteria
Renewable for 3rd and 4th semester for students who maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or higher at OTC

Application
The First Place State Winner Scholarship does not require an application. Students are eligible based on placing first in state competition during the academic year, and are selected by their organization’s advisor.
