The U.S. Department of Education has established regulations to prevent fraud and abuse for the Federal Student Aid program. It does this by identifying students with an unusual enrollment history.  They have identified you as having an unusual enrollment history. OTC must review this before we can determine if you are eligible to receive Federal Student Aid.

In order to review, we must evaluate your transcripts from all your prior colleges attended for the last four years.

Complete the following steps:

  1. Review the National Student Loan Data System(NSLDS) for schools attended during the academic years of 2017-2018, 2018-2019, 2019-2020, and 2020-2021
  2. If you have not submitted transcripts for schools listed on NSLDS (See Step 1), request Official Transcripts from all your prior colleges be mailed to Ozarks Technical Community College.  If you already submitted transcripts for all schools listed on NSDLS, please continue to Step 3. No need to re-submit transcripts.

  1. Once all of your transcripts have been sent to OTC, email financialaid@otc.eduwith subject line: “21-22 ENROLLMENT HISTORY REVIEW REQUEST.”

Once we receive your request for review and have all of your official transcripts for the review years, we will make a determination. You will receive an email to your OTC email account with instructions on how to proceed. It will either inform you we require no further action or that state we require you to submit an appeal. This appeal would provide additional consideration regarding your enrollment history.
