Selective Admission Programs

Certain selective admission programs and courses establish standards of admission to assure students have the necessary aptitude and background for success. The following programs are considered to have selective admission criteria:

• Aviation Flight Technology
• Behavioral Health Support
• Dental Assisting
• Dental Hygiene
• Electrical Distribution Systems
• Medical Laboratory Technician
• Practical and Registered Nursing
• Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Paramedicine
• Physical Therapist Assistant
• Respiratory Therapy
• Surgical Technology
• Welding – Industrial Welding Specialist

OTC may require students applying for these programs to take additional tests for admissions purposes and/or meet certain requirements to continue in the program. Contact the department for program-specific information.
