What is Enrollment Status?
Enrollment status defines a student’s current relationship with OTC. It impacts things like: financial aid eligibility, communications, registration eligibility, and required documents. Your enroll status is determined by the information provided by you on your most recent admission’s application. Enrollment statuses are categorized as either degree seeking or non-degree seeking.
Degree seeking students are pursuing an active Program of Study and are eligible to receive financial aid funds. These statuses include:
- First-time
- Transfer
- Re-admit
- Continuously enrolled
Non-degree seeking students typically plan to take a limited number of courses and are often enrolled at another college or university. Non-degree seeking students are not eligible to receive financial aid funds. These statuses include:
- Visiting
If the information provided by you on your most recent application has changed and your enrollment status needs to be updated, please speak with your admissions counselor or college navigator for assistance.
