Frequently Asked Questions
What are the meal options?
Eagle Breakfast includes your choice of oatmeal with fruit, cold cereal with fruit, and biscuits and gravy with fruit. Beverage options vary by location. All Eagle Breakfast options will be visibly marked.
Do I need to sign up for my free breakfast?
Nope. Anyone with an OTC student ID number can have an Eagle Breakfast for free every day of the week during the Eagle Breakfast hour.
What if I don’t have a student ID (SmartCard)?
We encourage you to get your SmartCard, which is also your student ID, as soon as possible. Visit the IT Service Center in the Information Commons Welcome Center (next to the Hamra Library) to obtain one. In the meantime, you can still receive a free breakfast by supplying your student ID number at checkout in Café 101.
How many Eagle Breakfast meals can I have each day?
One Eagle Breakfast meal will be allowed per student, per day.
What if I don’t want a full meal, just one of the eligible items?
Just want a coffee or banana? No problem. Students may receive the complete meal or part of it. All options will be visibly marked.
Are other items available for purchase during Eagle Breakfast time?
Yes, you may still purchase any of the delicious and convenient breakfast and snack items offered by Café 101 on the Springfield Campus. They offer a variety of reasonably priced foods.
Can OTC employees have a free Eagle Breakfast?
The program is exclusively for OTC students. Employees do not qualify unless they are student workers or designated as work-study.
