ABOUT
The Writer’s Coalition is a group of writers, poets and creative individuals who have a passion for all works of art.
There are many students who want a creative outlet to grow but don’t know where to find one. Others seek an artistic community or struggle to get their ideas on paper. The Writer’s Coalition inspires to help cultivate creativity in the students of Ozarks Tech and help motivate writers of all kinds.
During meetings, we discuss writing submissions, partake in different activities and engage in different themed discussions.
We also have a group discord for announcements, updates, quirky discussions, writing resources, and more. There, you’ll also find the general rules for the club.
HOW TO JOIN
Everyone is welcome to join weekly and online meetings. OTC students can become members by attending 4 official club meetings. After that, they will be asked if they would like to become a member of the club.
MEETINGS
Meeting times for the 2024 fall semester are on Tuesdays from 3:00-4:30 PM in the Carol Jones Writing Center. We will also have occasional online meetings. To stay updated on information for online meetings and other events, follow our Instagram, Tiktok or discord server!
