ABOUT

SkillsUSA is a national group for teachers and students from middle school to college. It prepares students for technical, skilled, and service careers, including health fields. Its mission is to help members become skilled workers, leaders, and responsible citizens.

Programs include competitions at local, district, state, and national levels. At the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference, over 6,000 students compete in more than 100 skill areas.

These programs set industry standards for job training and promote community service. SkillsUSA is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. The U.S. Department of Labor praises it as a successful youth training program.

SkillsUSA offers chances for students to show personal, workplace, and technical skills. These three areas form the framework for career readiness.
