ABOUT

Are you one of those people who likes to tinker and build things?  Do you love advanced technology?

Perhaps it’s time to join the Society of Manufacturing Engineers or SME!

What is SME? The Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) advances manufacturing and attracts future generations to the field!

We are a community of manufacturing loving people and have fun while doing it!  We’re a community not just for manufacturing students, but all those interested in learning more about manufacturing or wanting to learn more about the many Manufacturing programs at OTC. We’re committed to creating a community that helps future manufacturers learn, grow, and hone their skills. Our community will help organize events that broaden the scope and exposure of OTC students to real-life manufacturing knowledge, challenges, and career information.

HOW TO JOIN

Membership is free and open to all currently enrolled OTC students, faculty, and staff, as well as alumni!

To join SME and be a part of our Canvas community you just need to email one of the OTC SME advisors.
