Congratulations! Now that you are on your way, here’s how to apply for graduation:
Candidates for graduation must submit a graduation application to the Registrar’s Office for the degree or certificate they intend to receive even if they do not intend to “walk” in the graduation ceremony.
Applications for graduation are due:
Review your degree audit using the degree audit link under the AccessOTC tab in your MyOTC account. Double check that the correct program of study is listed and that you have all courses required to complete your program. If you have questions about your degree audit please contact your assigned advisor.
Apply online in MyOTC at the graduation tab in OTC Central or download the Printable Application for Graduation (below).

The federal government requires all students graduating from OTC who borrowed from the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFEL) or Direct Loan Program to complete a student loan exit counseling. Your diploma & transcripts will be held until you have met this requirement. Click here.
OTC holds commencement exercises once a year following the spring term. The college invites students completing program requirements in the spring, summer and fall semesters are to participate in the ceremony. Please make certain that you apply for graduation whether or not you plan to attend the graduation ceremony.
Once you’ve applied for graduation, OTC will verify your coursework and mail your diploma to you within six to eight weeks of the end of the term you finish. Your diploma will be sent to the mailing address on file for you in Student Services providing that your record is clear of all holds. Make sure your address is correct in MyOTC by clicking on Change My Contact Information on the AccessOTC tab. Transcripts verifying your degree/certificate are available approximately one week after the commencement ceremony. To request an official transcript, click here.
